部门宗旨：

海星中学华文部在教学中秉持“学生乐学、教师乐教”的理念，注重培养教师有“乐教之心”、“会教之能”、“善教之法”；以发展学生的华语综合运用能力为原则，发展学生自主创新精神为本，努力营造“学生乐学”的校园文化。

为培养学生在不同领域的21世纪技能，实现本校的育人愿景，华文部期待以核心语言课程发展学生的语言和思维能力；以文化拓展课程和活动培养学生的文化素养，让海星学生能自信面对未来的挑战。

华文部课程设置：

Chinese Language Elective Programme 华文语文特选课程

Introduction 介绍

The Chinese Language Elective Programme at Secondary Level was implemented by the Ministry of Education from 2020. Maris Stella High School aims to nurture promising students to attain a high level of language proficiency in Chinese, and enhance their understanding of Chinese literature. The programme also aims to develop these students to become effectively bilingual so as to better serve the needs of our nation. Maris Stella High School is one of the nine centres offering CLEP-Sec to upper secondary students.

为了栽培精通双语的人才，提高学生的华文水平和文学素养，教育部在2020年开办中学华文语文特选课程（简称中学语特），鼓励对华文和华文文学有浓厚兴趣的中学高年级学生加入。新加坡海星中学是九所开办中学语特课程的学校之一。

Curriculum Content 课程内容

The duration of the programme is two years. All students enrolled in CLEP-Sec must offer O-Level Literature in Chinese, in either full or elective (non-IP schools), or a school-based CL Literature (IP schools).

本课程为期两年。所有中学语特学生必须修读‘O’水准华文文学（完整或配对课程）。

Programme Activities 深广活动

Students from the CLEP-Sec centres will jointly attend two signature activities organised by MOE. This includes a two-day camp that will be held locally during the June holidays of Secondary 3 with a focus on Post-Secondary Educational Institutions’ (PSEI) MTL Pathways and CL-related interests. Also, there will be a one to two-week overseas immersion programme will be organised towards the end of Secondary 3.

Students will also participate in school-based activities and programmes such as Literary lectures, Meet-the-Author sessions, enrichment workshops, project work competition, etc.

教育部将为中学语特学生举办两项旗舰活动。学生将在中三六月假期参加两天的语特营，体验文学文化活动，并进一步了解毕业后与华文相关的升学与就业发展方向。一至两周的海外浸濡计划将在中三年底展开，培养学生的文学素养，让学生有机会深度体验当地的风土民情，拓宽视野。

中学语特学生也将有机会参加由学校举办的一系列活动例如文学讲座、作家座谈会、深广课程、专题研究等。

Eligibility 录取资格

At the end of Secondary 2, students must obtain at least:

• Grade B3 in Higher Chinese (HCL)

选择加入本课程的学生，其中二成绩必须达到以下标准：

• 高级华文B3

Programme Incentives  奖励措施

Chinese Language Elective Scholarship (CLES)

CLEP-Sec students who are Singapore citizens and achieved outstanding performance in lower secondary will be considered for the CLES awarded by MOE.

• The CLES is tenable for 2 years.

• Recipients will receive an annual scholarship allowance of $1,000. School fees will also be covered, subject to an annual cap of $2,400. Recipients are not required to enter into a bond with the Singapore government.

• Subsidy for overseas immersion trip will be given.

• The renewal of the CLES is subject to the recipient’s Secondary 3 examination performance and conduct.

CLEP-Sec Certificate

A certificate of recognition will be presented to students upon completion of the 2-year programme.

华文语文特选课程奖学金 参加中学语特课程，并且校内成绩优异的新加坡公民可申请教育部 特奖学金。

• 奖学金为期两年。

• 奖学金得主每年可获一千新元，同时免缴学费（学费津贴每年不超过两千四百新元）。奖学金得主无须与新加坡政府签约。

• 奖学金得主会获得海外浸濡计划的津贴。

• 奖学金得主的中三成绩必须达到一定的标准，而且品行优良，否则奖学金可能被取消。

语特证书

完成两年的语特课程后，学生将获颁证书以资肯定。
