Art 美术

The Art Department aims to:

• Inculcate in Marists a life-long interest in Art;

• Broaden Marists' exposure to artistic expression and the role Art plays in society; and

• Develop Marists to explore their imagination and ability for artistic expression using the world around them as inspiration.

To achieve the Department’s goals, the following programmes are offered:

• MSHS 2-year Lower Secondary Art Programme

• Art Enrichment Programme (Inter-levels)

• GCE O-Level Art in Upper Secondary

Marists have performed well in the following competitions:

• Certificate of Recognition (Honourable Mention) - Our School Our Stories 2020

• Certificate of Participation under Special Provision - Singapore Youth Festival 2020 Arts Exhibition

• Certificate of Recognition (Bronze and Silver) - Draw our Stamp Story Art Competition 2020

• 2024 SYF Art Exhibition Certificate of recognition (special mention)  

• 2026 SYF Art Exhibition Certificate of recognition

美术部致力于：

• 培养学生对艺术的终身兴趣；

• 拓展学生对艺术表现形式以及艺术在社会中所扮演的角色的理解；

• 教导学生以周遭世界为灵感，发挥他们的想象力与创造力，进行 艺术性的表达。
  

为实现这些目标，美术部开设了以下课程：

• 海星中学低年级美术课程

• 美术深广课程（跨年级）

• 中四 O 水准美术课程

我校学生在多项美术比赛中表现优异，如：

• 2020年“Our School Our Stories“  ——荣誉奖状（荣誉提名）

• 2020年新加坡青年节艺术展 （Certificate of Participation under Special Provision - Singapore Youth Festival 2020 Arts Exhibition）——参与证书（特殊规则）

• 2020年 “Draw our Stamp Story Art Competition”——荣誉奖状（银奖与铜奖）

• 2024年 SYF Art Exhibition Certificate of recognition (special mention) ——荣誉奖状（特别提及）

• 2026年 SYF Art Exhibition Certificate of recognition ——荣誉奖状
