Scouts builds discipline, teamwork, and community spirit through outdoor skills, leadership, and service programmes.

The Scouts CCA aims to:

Develop Marists intellectually and physically through meaningful challenges and experiences.
Inculcate the values of discipline, respect, trust, resilience and responsibility.
Develop teamwork and cooperation through peer-led learning and activities in Sixes.
Nurture leadership skills by providing Cub Scouts with opportunities to take on responsibilities and lead their peers.

To achieve the CCA’s goals, the following programmes are offered:

Outdoor and experiential activities such as hikes, camps, and outdoor cooking.
Training in practical Scouting skills, including knotting, campcraft, basic first aid and pioneering.
Games, craftwork and other hands-on activities that develop creativity, cooperation and problem-solving skills.
Progress and Proficiency Badge programmes that enable Cub Scouts to develop Scouting and personal skills.

Marists are given opportunities to:

Take on leadership roles as Sixers or Assistant Sixers, and assist in organising activities and leading their peers.
Work with peers from different groups and CCAs, developing communication and teamwork skills.
Participate in community service and develop empathy through serving others.
Build resilience and confidence by taking on and overcoming challenges.
