Discover the Art and Crafts CCA, where students express themselves and grow in confidence through hands-on creative activities.
The Art and Crafts CCA aims to:
Nurture a love for art by providing Marists with opportunities to enjoy art and express themselves through visual artworks.
Develop creativity and confidence by exploring a variety of art forms and processes, such as ceramics, printmaking and mixed-media art, while encouraging curiosity, imagination and experimentation.
Cultivate an appreciation of art and artists through museum-based learning and exposure to Singaporean and international artists and artworks.
To achieve the CCA’s goals, the following programmes are offered:
Exploration of Different Art Forms - Marists explore different art forms and techniques such as ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting and mixed media, to develop their creativity and confidence.
Art Learning Journeys - Marists visit museums, art exhibitions and other learning spaces to learn about artists and artworks, and deepen their appreciation of art.
Marists are given opportunities to showcase their creativity and share their artworks through various platforms and arts events, including:
